Action Photographer Captures St.
Clair Race
Fort Gratiot, MI – August 15, 2005 –
The action and excitement of the St.
Clair River Classic Offshore Race
were captured in dazzling color by
photographer Michael Alan Petrick in
St. Clair, MI in July. The race was
won by Wildcard, owned and driven by
William Ros.
The Offshore Super Series Powerboat
Racing Association (OSS) currently
features photos by Petrick on its
website. They also appear in company
newsletters for race boat sponsors.
The 38 year old computer engineering
specialist has been taking action
photos and river shots since moving
to Fort Gratiot, Michigan last year.
Previously, he worked on sports
photography, team shots and family
photos for weddings, reunions and
geneology. He also photographs
events such as conventions, seminars
and business activities. In 2006,
truck and recreational vehicle
photography will be added. Petrick
will offer stock photos of these
vehicles against interesting or
dramatic backdrops.
Petrick is available for weekend
shooting assignments onsite through
the U.S. and Canada.
